Treatment with RADIESSE dermal filler is so simple and convenient; it can be performed during a lunch hour. You’ll see the results right away - and these results may last up to a year. Treatment with RADIESSE dermal filler requires little to no downtime. In most cases, patients return to normal activities almost immediately after treatment. There have been very few side effects reported in clinical trials and actual usage. However, you may experience some common injection-related reactions, such as mild irritation, swelling, itching, discoloration, or tenderness at the injection site. These conditions typically resolve themselves within one to two days. Dr. Rodgers will explain what to expect and provide specific instructions after your treatment with RADIESSE.

How it Works

RADIESSE dermal filler works with your own body. Upon injection, it immediately adds volume to safely contour, correct, and beautify facial features. And, unlike other fillers, RADIESSE dermal filler continues to work over time. With its patented microsphere technology, it starts a process called collagenesis, stimulating your body to produce new collagen and encouraging collagen to grow around the injection area.

In Office Procedure

Treatment with RADIESSE dermal filler is typically performed at The Artisan Center using a local anesthetic. Occasionally, Dr. Rodgers will inject it in the operating room when it is combined with other surgical procedures. RADIESSE dermal filler is injected under the skin in a continuous stream through a very fine needle. Once the filler is injected, Dr. Rodgers will massage it for precise, beautiful results you ca n see right away.
