XEOMIN contains botulinum toxin type A without the accessory proteins found in some other botulinum toxin products. It is FDA-approved for the temporary improvement of moderate to severe glabellar lines in adults. Healthy men and women who are looking to improve lines of the face and neck may be good candidates for treatment with Botox. Botox should not be performed on pregnant women or individuals with certain neuromuscular disorders such as myasthenia gravis, ALS, or Lambert-Eaton Syndrome.

There is no formal recovery process required following Botox or XEOMIN® injections. You may experience mild localized redness, faint swelling, or tiny bump-like marks at the injection sites, which typically fade within 15 to 30 minutes.
To ensure optimal product absorption and prevent spreading to unintended muscles, patients are advised to keep their head elevated for 4 hours post-treatment and avoid rubbing or massaging treated facial areas. Strenuous physical exercise, saunas, and intense heat exposure should be avoided for 24 hours.
Initial smoothing effects begin to appear within 3 to 5 days following treatment, with final peak results becoming fully visible at around 10 to 14 days.
